Is axe throwing safe?
Absolutely! MANIAX has an impeccable safety record. Each session begins with a safety briefing and coaching session led by one of our AXE-perts, ensuring everyone knows how to throw safely and effectively.
Do I need to be strong to throw an axe?
Not at all! Axe throwing is all about precision rather than brute strength. Many people are surprised at how quickly they get the hang of it with the right technique and coaching from our AXE-perts.

MANIAX Family pass conditions
The Family Pass must include at least one child aged between 11 and 17, and at least one adult aged 18 or older, with a maximum of two adults aged 18 or older. The Family Pass is exclusively available for family groups. MANIAX reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to cancel tickets and refund purchasers who are found not to be families.
The minimum age for children to participate in axe throwing is 11 years. Guests aged 11-17 must have waivers signed by a parent or guardian, and guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children aged 10 and under are welcome to come along and watch the action without purchasing a ticket.
*The Family Feast is not available at Abbotsford, Northbridge and Gold Coast.
